Amelia Earhart
Laying on the beach is not my kind of travelling. I seek to get the most out of every day of travelling.
I love big cities and I enjoy spending time in nature. All of it with loads of variety during the week.
I love loads of sports and incorporate it in my travels as much as I can. So, I always look for a good fitness center in the cities I travel to. And I hike. I dive. I kite.
You won't find me in a tent in a base camp of a mountain for 10 days nor in a nightclub at 2 AM for nights in a row.
I'm not a backpacker and I am not a fancy pants either. I usually go for mid range hotels/hostels/apartments with the occasional "what the heck, go get spoiled", when I feel like it is worth it.
I would rather not eat at all than eat badly. :)
I love love love love good food and good wine. I look for high quality and clean products.
I can appreciate a simple pasta with sauce cooked from fresh tomatoes in Italy the same as a 5 course dinner in one of Buenos Aires' fine dining restaurant.
I am working 240 days a year. I travel and am active the rest of it:)
I am Suisse.
I am an engineer by training and a passionate traveler at heart.
I fly a lot for my vacation. I am aware and believe in climate change. This is conflicting. I try to make up for it by always compensating the flights. I don't eat meat. This is my contribution. We all try to juggle moral and ethical considerations the best way we think we can.
I hardly travel alone and mostly do so with my husband. He will be absent from this blog, because he doesn't want to be on it :) But, he approved all of my blogs and contributes to them always :)
